A ROUND OF GOLF
Golf is the finest in northern MinnesotaForemost is golf. Many golf courses are located in the immediate Manhattan Beach area. The extended lakes area is home to some of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the upper Midwest. Indeed, the 27 courses of the Brainerd Lakes Area have created a veritable golfing mecca. Many of those courses have been designed by some of the game's most famous names, including Arnold Palmer, Robert Trent Jones II, and Joel Goldstrand. The staff at Manhattan Beach Lodge will be more than happy to assist you in arranging tee times for your group at the course of your choice.

PONTOON CRUISE OR JET SKI
You can begin exploration of the 14 lakes of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes just steps from your guestroom door. Pontoon to a secluded island for an afternoon and experience the exhilaration of a jet-ski ride or just slowly cruise the lakes of the Chain without distractions.

HIKING IN THE WOODS
On land, take to the woods for a wilderness hike and watch for beaver ponds, herds of whitetail deer or look up at a soaring eagle or osprey. The famous Paul Bunyan Trail is nearby and offers a 50-mile paved ribbon for easy recreational biking in a beautiful, wooded setting.

BONFIRE ON THE BEACH
After a full day of outdoor activities, return to the lodge and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over Big Trout Lake. Finally, treat yourself to a warm summer night, a moonlit beach and a roaring bonfire to create lasting individual memories.
